Not what I expected from Durango boots I have worn in the past....so far, better! This squared toed boot is something new for me and I like it....doesn't crimp my toes and I think it makes working the pedals easier than with the round or pointed toed boots of my past. I gave the boot four stars cause it ain't water proof but that is a small matter. And so far, they are breaking in nicely.

I needed boots that had an oil resistant and slip resistant sole because I am a manager at an auto repair shop. I found these and thought they might be but could not find any documentation to prove it. I started a live chat with Heather and she did not believe they were oil resistant. (I think she was reading the same page that I was.) That night I happened apon this exact boot at J*x O*****r W***d in Loveland CO. I turned it over and right on the bottom was engraved, "Oil Resistant" and "Slip Resistant". I tried them on and was surprised at how well they fit and how light they were. I made the purchase with excitement. Now if they hold up I will be back for more!
