I've worn these boots everyday since I got them. I work as the shipping dept. manager at a major repair facility here in the Northwest, so a durable boot is necessary and these boots deliver!

These are very good, durable boots. I buy a new pair every 2 years, usually because I have worn the sole of it so thin, than it feels as if your finger is going to puncture it when you apply pressure. Usually , when I buy these, they are used for casual/dress purposes (daily) for around 3-4 months, while they are still new. After the newness has worn off, they gradually get incorporated into my workplace (mechanic) until they interchange between the two all day everyday. I wear these all the time, and, like I said, 2 year lifespan depending. I wear the soles out by that time. the leather does to like water. It cam tolerate rain easily enough, but if they are submerged into water (stepping in a mud puddle, for example) on a semi-regular basis, or if you get them wet with a water hose while washing your car, etc. The leather (after a year or so) will began to crack and split where it meets the stiching at the rubber sole. Not a big deal, the lining is still there, but, eventually, you will wear a hole in the lining, and need new boots. These are very good, durable boots, just don't buy them for work use if your daily routine involves being around/exposed to water.
